Tom Hermans

Designer. Developer. Building websites and brands.

Csaba Varszegi

I am a WordPress enthousiast and a JavaScript lover. I work since last year as a frontend and WordPress developer as “LittleBigThings”, mostly creating WordPress websites. I have found WordPress in 2013 and contributed since in the forums, as a member of the theme review theme, as a WordCamp organizer and to the Twenty Seventeen default theme in WordPress 4.7. I love the idea of “open source”, the WordPress’ philosophy and community. Oh yes, I am a minimalist who enjoys simplicity in life.

Aytac Kokus

My first WordPress developer experience was being a front-end developer at Queromedia. Mostly working within theme directory. After that I started working as a backend developer at AppSaloon and I’m still there. My job consists of creating custom features (plugins) or optimizing websites.

Diana Edreva

Hi my name is Diana and I am “Just another WordPress enthusiast” I am also a plugin dev newbie as well as a big Star Wars fan (heavy Vader breathing) and absolutely love being part of the WordPress community!

Thijs Feryn

Thijs Feryn is a “technical evangelist” at Combell and Sentia. Both are leading webhosting companies in the Benelux area: the former in the SME market, the latter in the enterprise market. His goal is to bring technology to the people and people to technology. He focuses on bridging the gap between code and infrastructure. Thijs is a published author at O’Reilly, he is also involved in many open source communities and leads the PHPBenelux community. He speaks, listens, writes, codes, teaches, blogs, vlogs, organizes and is above all very excited to speak at WordCamp Antwerp.

Aart Geys

David created Paytium (https://www.paytium.nl), a simple plugin to accept payments in WordPress websites without complicated integrations. He is an online payments expert and entrepreneur that has been sharing his knowledge and experience since 2003.

David also manages other WordPress plugins such as the Mollie integration for WooCommerce and Post Snippets (https://www.postsnippets.com). Together these plugins run on more than 60.000 websites!

Annelieke van den Berg

I manage the Marketing department at Yoast. I have my Master’s degree in Sociology and focus on all things related to marketing, in particular data analysis. I contribute to Yoast Academy as well.
I’m 31 years old, I have a 3 year old daughter and I like to sing and dance

Toon Van de Putte

Graphic design, web design, UX, Information architecture and now web development. I’ve been imtimately involved with pretty much every aspect of website building, specifically with WordPress. For the last ten years, I’ve been mostly working for Klasse, maker of on- and offline magazines and issuer of the Teacher’s Card (Lerarenkaart)

Jens De Beule

Thorsten Frommen

Thorsten is a certified PHP engineer, web development professional and tester. He is working in the web since 2000, and with (and on) WordPress since 2005. Thorsten is a Senior WordPress Engineer at Human Made.

A big fan of open source, Thorsten created several plugins and other projects, but also contributed to existing open source projects. Also, he is an advocate of object-oriented design, and software testing.

Since the first official German WordCamp in Hamburg in June 2014, Thorsten fell in love with both the WordPress community and WordCamps, in particular, where he likes to both gain and share knowledge.

Maik Gruppen

Maik has been working with WordPress since 2010. At first as a freelance web designer and currently at Savvii Managed WordPress Hosting. Maik is Savvii’s ‘travelling consultant’. His talks with partners and clients do not only concern technical details, but mostly focus on exploring possibilities for growth. Because growth for partners and clients equals growth for Savvii!

Maik is Savvii’s reizende consultant.

Brecht Ryckaert

Brecht is a WordPress enthusiast from Belgium who’s been using WordPress since version 1.5. He has 10 years of experience in the hosting industry and is well versed with security, performance and problem solving. When not diving into WordPress, he loves to write while nipping on a single malt.

Jaime Martínez

Happy coder @ Level Level & long time WordPress enthousiast.

Herman Maes

As a techblogger since 2002 Herman is an early user of WP. Working as a freelance technical marketer and GDPR guy with a technical background he is jumping between the business and technical side of projects.
